I've got the Seaward engine harness upgrade, looks like
it is somthing for this winter. The boat has several electrical upgrades
one of which bypassed the ammeter at the engine panel, plus there
are a number of items wired directly to the DC buss without benefit
of fused switches. All and all the boat is in good shape. Looking
forward to cruising the San Juans (only 12 mi away.) Thanks for the
page and the chance to compare notes with other owners. -- Andy
PS, I was able to tour the Catalina factory in July, very interesting
and a great source of info. |

(Crazy Wind) from a fellow in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Not sure if we
are the 2nd owners, or the 10th!! Found her on Yachtworld.com listing.
Purchased based on price, many excellent pictures and a sound marine
survey. Should be loaded on a truck and making its way to Kenora,
ON, Canada tomorrow (Dec. 14th, 2007). |

| How Boat Was Named |
Carol, a constant reader, says name speaks
the exploration and adventure of sailing. We find ourselves with friends
in winds of change and fortunes of fellowship pleasure cruising. The
sails follow the red and silver ribbons of sun and moon sliping into
home port with tales to share and memories to treasure. YachtaSea.
Fitting such a voyage to name is good for life, love and happiness.
Carol and I wish your sailboat equal admiration of your heart. |
| Comments |
Carol and I, together, learned to sail twenty years
ago. Our first boat a MacGregor 25, "Taboo", then a Catalina
30, "WindSong III" and now our Catalina 34, "YachtaSea".
We use our get away home in the lake as retreat gathering with friends
entertaining winds off the sun and moon. Sailing, the perfect sport!
Listen to the shrouds and canvess calling, crew together in harmony,
and test fly the winds. We wish you the best of sailing! |
