What kind of
performance can I expect
from a C34 under sail?
"The Catalina 34 should be sailed on her lines, with no more than 5 degrees of
weather helm; the trick is to keep the heel angle around 15 degrees. You will also be able
to compensate for puffs much more readily at this heel angle than if you are already
heeled at 20-25 degrees, which would make rounding up inevitable..." (Mainsheet, Feb.,
1990).
